He paused searching for the correct word. “It’s just that the heads of the other six Lords of Evil are displayed outside the city walls. And I saw the Seventh Lord of Evil plunge into the chasm but…” “You witnessed my sword flash through the air like steeled lightning?” ![]() He held his sword aloft, then swung it through the air, reacting the final blow. He wiped his bejewelled sword clean on Ludo’s cloak. “How apt that such evil be destroyed by somebody as morally perfect as I.” continued Sir Leopold. Ludo, his young squire emerged from the darkness of the cave and joined his master peering into the fiery depths. “He’s definitely dead.” He muttered, shielding his eyes from the intense heat. Sir Leopold removed his helmet and, wiping the sweet from his handsome face, peered downwards into the pit of lava. ![]()
